We understand that unexpected disruptions, like a government shutdown, can cause financial stress, and we’re here to help.
If you've been affected, here are some options:
Payment relief
We may be able to temporarily pause your payment obligations and/or waive late fees.
If you're concerned about making payments during this time, or if you have any questions about your account, call our special care line at 833-769-0678. We can evaluate which combination of support options (due date change, payment pause, fees waived) will work best for you. Please don’t wait until the payment is late. Reach out to us as soon as possible if you're experiencing a hardship.
Permanently move your due date
You may want to adjust your monthly due date so that your payment isn't due at the same time as other bills. You can permanently move it online or in the LendingClub app up to 15 calendar days before or after your original due date. If you've already permanently moved your payment due date once and want to move it again, call us at 833-769-0678.
What this means for interest: Changing your due date can affect the total interest you pay. While moving your due date doesn't change your monthly payment, moving it to a later date may result in you having to pay an additional amount once your account matures. This additional amount covers any interest accrued because of the change.
Things to Keep in Mind
Relief options are temporary and meant to help in times of disruption. These are not permanent changes to your loan.
Making voluntary payments or paying ahead is still allowed and encouraged.
We’re here to help you. Reaching out early ensures that we have more flexibility to support your situation.
